Not just the fact it's a "kid" in New Hampshire (they must've cast Danny the way 90210 cast "teenagers" around the same time) wearing that cap but the fact someone actually had one to wear during the reenactment in the late 80's/early 90's was incredibly random.

Awesome (as a fan of vintage sports stuff like this), but random .
Kind of unusual for UM because they were usually pretty good on this kind of stuff when dressing actors for reenactments. In the Paul Ferrell segment, you see an investigator wearing an Orioles cap because Cathy Ford disappeared from Maryland, and the Baltimore field office of the FBI was called in for that particular case--even though I don't think RS even tells you that much in the segment. And of course, in the ATV murders segment, you can spot the actor playing Ken Griffith wearing a backwards Tennessee Vols cap.

The Paquette segment was a pretty early one; maybe the wardrobe department finally hit their stride a season or two in.

Whenever I think of that segment my mind always goes to that ridiculously cheesy "What can I sayyyyyy to youuuuuuu, Bonitaaaaaaa" song they used in it.

The actor was pure ham.

Not to mention all of the zingers Robert Stack got to say such as "Corpulent Conman" "Con Juan" etc.

Just happened to watch that segment and it's funny to me because of that guy for a different reason. Like who said you were getting a cut, random man on the street??

Robert Stack in the intro for the original Bonnie Wilder episode, where he closes the narration out with "She is known as 'The Fat Woman!'" sends me every time.

Robert Stack could make a congressional budget bill sound interesting.

I kind of chuckle at the end of the Charlotte Pollis disappearance segment when Paul's going on about how he had nothing to do with it, nor did his family have anything to do with it "...as far as I know" and then he glances over and breaks the fourth wall.

This is an exceptionally long thread, but the one observation here that will always stick out for me is "BLACK LEATHER JACKET, BLACK LEATHER JACKET!!!". I have sometimes found myself silently jamming out to it whenever I need to be simultaneously pumped up and laugh.

What was the other one you found that cracked me up?! I want to say it was in the Veronica Jefferson or Tracy Wofford-Bunn segment. It was a wonderfully awful failed attempt at rap. How did it go again?

Oh it's Tracy Wofford Bunn's boyfriend's jam:

YOU CAN'T GET UP UNTIL YA BEEN DOWN
SPEND SOME TIME (Unintelligible)

So short but so impactful.

I'm gonna have to dig that one up!

Some of the priceless lyrics to "Black Leather Jacket" include:

Black leather jacket, black leather jacket!
I'm a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
Black leather jacket, black leather jacket!
With a ghetto blaster and a loaded gun!

The last time I watched this one on YouTube the comments had me rolling.

"Seriously, Unsolved Mysteries, what is this music?"

I've legit got out of bed on a couple occasions and started boppin to this as soon as my feet hit the floor. I'm most definitely not a morning person but how could a day start badly when you've got Black Leather Jacket keeping you moving?

Not really funny but I get a kick out of the news in the background during the Tammy Lynn Leppert and Sal Guardado segments announcing the previous night's NHL scores.

The religious hill segment happened to come on today while I happened to have the Plex channel on and all these people are describing what so called miraculous vision they're seeing through the trees and then there's this kid in the background during it all like ...

"It looks like a butt! It looks like a butt! It kind of looks like a butt!"

Lorene Roberts, speaking of her siblings who were searching for her:

"They have always been original people."

WTF does that even mean? The poor woman was never in the strongest mental state, but still...

Original...to her life before she walked away from it?
