SOAP got really dumb the last 2 seasons. Did not realize or forgot about all of the censors. It was a clever and creative concept but seasons 3 and 4 are not worth watching IMHO. It just was dumb. So glad Susan got to try it one more time on Golden Girls. It must of been so bitter sweet. Benson was so sterile. Its not mentioned in this clip but Casey Kasem was asked to do the intro during the theme but he refused. He thought it was never going to be successful. The 70s were quite liberal but there was this conservative push back. Surprised Threes Company survived because its was way edgier than SOAP.
