LeVar Burton is set to host a Trivial Pursuit game show on The CW

LeVar Burton is in the final stages of a deal to host and executive produce a TV adaptation of the popular board game Trivial Pursuit. The 66-year-old entertainer, who was among the stars who tried out to host Jeopardy! after the death of Alex Trebek, will also be an executive producer on the show, Deadline reported. |

"Trivial Pursuit" and "Scrabble" Officially Ordered at The CW
by Dave Nemetz Feb. 15, 2024 The CW has handed series orders to "Trivial Pursuit" and "Scrabble", new game shows based on the classic Hasbro board games. LeVar Burton, however, was not mentioned in the press release as its host and EP. "Scrabble" Coming Back to The CW with Craig Ferguson; "Trivial Pursuit" also Renewed
by Lynette Rice May 19, 2025 The CW has renewed "Scrabble" for a 30-episode second season and has recruited Craig Ferguson to take over Raven-Symoné as host. "Trivial Pursuit", hosted by LeVar Burton, has also been picked up for 30-episode second season.
