Eight months ago we found out that Jay Mohr filed for divorce from Nikki Cox. A few weeks later he changed his mind. Then last December, he filed divorce paper to quit Nikki Cox a second time. This second divorce filing appears to be the one that’s sticking. And just like his attempts at filing for divorce, their custody battle is also turning into a bit of a **** show.

Nikki and Jay were married for ten years, and their divorce should be cut and dry, but it’s complicated because they have a five-year-old son named Meredith Mohr. People says that Jay filed documents earlier this month requesting sole physical custody and joint legal custody of Meredith. He has requested Nikki receive “reasonable visitation“, but that her visits be “professionally supervised.” The reason for that is because Jay alleges Nikki is deep in some drug and mental health issues.

According to the documents, Jay and Nikki are living in the same house, and he wants to leave ASAP and take Meredith with him. Jay alleges that Nikki’s refusal to take care of her mental health and her “failure to respect boundaries” forced him to find another place to live. As for what makes Nikki the sort of mom who needs supervised visits, Jay has many examples. Jay alleges that Nikki has left the oven on while she and Meredith were asleep, she left the backdoor open at night, and accidentally gave their kid a double dose of medicine which caused him to barf in his sleep.

Jay also wants away from Nikki because he claims Nikki is a horny mess who comes into his bedroom in the middle of the night looking for sex. He also alleges that she tried to seduce him by telling him he got her pregnant again. Jay says that’s impossible, because he’s shooting blanks.

And then there are some darker accusations, shades of Robin Thicke and Paula Patton darker. Jay alleges Nikki is abusing drugs, claims she has threatened suicide twice, and that she never really leaves the house and doesn’t see people anymore. He also claims Nikki will lock herself in her bedroom and go days without seeing their kid, despite them being in the same house. He says Nikki has never spent 24 hours alone with their son (their son apparently gets his care from Jay and a nanny).
That’s not to say Nikki never hangs out with their kid. Jay claims he has found Nikki and Meredith eating candy and watching cartoons at 2am. I mean, I’ll be honest. Everything about this situation terrible. But at least there’s one happy thought in all of this. Candy and cartoons in bed waaaaaay past your bedtime? That sounds better than Christmas and Halloween combined.

Tiffany Malloy was pretty much a '90s version of a sitcom female teen heartthrob. In other words, that resident attractive young female who managed to rope in red blooded men, even if they didn't care much for the rest of the show. Also kind of like Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell, Kelly Bundy on Married...with Children, Hillary Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, etc.

My point is, I wonder if all of all of the attention that Nikki Cox got for her beauty and perceived sex appeal kind of screwed with her head after-all. She was starting to age out of her ingenue stage and she had this "bombshell" image that she had to uphold. As a result, she started to panic over the thought of "getting too old" to the point in which she was no longer going to be seen as desirable.

Actress Nikki Cox was one of the hottest stars on TV in the late 1990s and early 2000s. But, unfortunately it seems the former beauty is no longer landing roles, which may be due to her questionable plastic surgery.

Cox's first major role came in 1995 on the former WB (now CW) comedy Unhappily Ever After. She later appeared in the ABC sitcom The Norm Show, before eventually landing her own show Nikki, also on the WB. However, many fans likely recognize Cox from NBC's hit Las Vegas, which ended in 2007. According to People, it was actually on that set where Cox met her now ex-husband actor Jay Mohr.

While Cox's career seemingly soared for more than a decade, it was perhaps her decision to alter her appearance that got her back in the headlines because of her shocking plastic surgery. It's unclear if or when Cox did undergo any procedures, since she apparently moved over to mostly voice-over work in 2009. However, the paparazzi did capture photos of Cox in 2013 with extremely swollen lips and a puffy face that left many confused by her transformation. Radar Online referred to Cox in those photos as "a far cry from her former self," while Daily Mail called her "almost unrecognizable" and "looking older than her 34 years."

But what you might not know about Cox's dramatically altered appearance is that a famed plastic surgeon believes that she did not even "go under the knife."

Years after her last well-known gig in the NBC drama Las Vegas, star Nikki Cox received a lot of media attention for her dramatic transformation, which appeared to be from plastic surgery. Celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Fiorillo, who did not treat the Lonely Street star, told Radar Online that "she definitely appears to have gotten some sort of filler in her cheeks and lips, which could be either Perlane or Restylane." While many stars certainly get fillers, Cox might have just overdone it, according to Fiorillo's observations. He said, "injectables always look best on a person when they are not noticeable, not when everyone can tell that the person had work done!"

The plastic surgeon added that, while it might seem that Cox underwent an extreme makeover, Fiorillo does not believe she got an invasive facelift. "It may look like she has because it is overdone, but in my opinion I do not think she went under the knife," he told Radar Online.

It's unclear if the former TV star is still getting fillers since she's remained mostly out of the spotlight since her 2016 split from actor Jay Mohr. The Picture Perfect star filed for sole custody of their son, citing "Nikki's ongoing refusal to attend her mental health issues ... her abuse of drugs, and her failure to respect boundaries" (via People). Cox never responded to the claims her ex alleged in said divorce documents, nor to the plastic surgery rumors that have plagued her career.

Nikki Cox’s acting career, spanning from 1982 to 2011, seemingly concluded around the time she embraced motherhood with the birth of her son in 2011. Since stepping away from the limelight, Nikki has maintained a private life, steering clear of public commentary about her departure from acting.

In 2006, Nikki married Jay Mohr, her co-star from “Las Vegas.” The couple welcomed their son, Meredith Daniel, in 2011 but divorced in 2018 amidst challenging circumstances. Mohr filed for sole custody of their son, citing concerns over Nikki’s mental health, alleged drug abuse, and boundary issues.

I wonder why Nikki Cox left the NBC show Las Vegas (which was probably, her last really high profile acting gig) after its fourth season in 2007? Keep in mind that the show would go on for at least one more season.

The official reasoning behind her departure was due to "budget cuts", but I wonder if that was just a cover. In other words, I really wonder if Nikki was in actuality, because of her likely escalating personal problems. It has since been reported that Nikki has had issues with substance abuse coupled with an overall decline in her mental health.

Nikki hasn't worked in film or television in any capacity for almost 15 years now.
