Why didn't Kelly return in the final episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Even if she didn't return for the final episode, she could have at least made an appearance for an episode in the final episode while Hayden, Christine, Luther, Dauber, and the Burleighs (Howard and Shirley) were in Orlando. Even Judy (Dauber's former girlfriend) made an appearance in the final season. Kelly could have met her adoptive brother.

What was particularly weird about the final episode was that at the end, there was a final bit with the cast that included Kris Kamm, who played Stuart (he was Kelly's husband in the early seasons). Keep in mind that he had not appeared since the fourth season.

It's a glaring omission that went unexplained and since I just finished the series in full for myself, it's bugging me now lol
