Default As Wholesome as It Was, 'The Brady Bunch' Had To Ban This Incredibly Disturbing Scene

https://collider.com/the-brady-bunch...kinny-dipping/

It's definitely much more than a hunch.

You can still see the scene on MeTv. I think its overblown. The scene was used just to show how Alice was a parental force in the house with the kids.

Here is the scene. Grown adults invite their children's friends to swim nude in their pool. That would be illegal.
Put this scene in context. Its reminding the viewer, the kids, and the parents what good Alice is to the family. She even protects the children from the child molesters that moved in next door.

I knew what the original post was about without checking the link.

It's not a banned scene. I'm not sure why the writers decided to include it, though. If I recall correctly it doesn't really have anything to do with the rest of the episode, right?

I really don't know what episode this was in, but i don't recall a full episode having to do with going to a pool.

OK, I went into the clickbait junk site -- ir's "Goodbye, Alice, Hello" from season 4. I do remember the episode--the kids think Alice is squealing on them in varying situations, causing Alice to eventually leave the Bradys because the kids start giving her the cold shoulder. This pool thing may be the Bobby/Cindy situation--Alice probably told the Mike and Carol about it. i don't remember a scene where one of the parents talked to the kids about it--in real life the parents would probably have dealt with the adults involved in the whole situation. Like the present time, adults even then just don't invite little kids over to go skinny dipping.

You are right in the sense that the scene is not "banned." However it got cut in syndication and is extremely rare. MeTv still shows it.
In context the scene demonstrates Alice's protection of the kids and steps in as a parent when they are not around. This episode had lots of mini scenes like this.
In the 1970s skinny dipping was the rage. Not sure if it was a post hippy thing or not. Streaking was popular too. I would sometimes hear people in the 1970s talk about skinny dipping in their pool at night. Its sort of a time stamp on the episode. When the writers wrote it they could not see the danger of such thing. Bobby and Cindy were minor children.

It wasn't at a pool--Alice was talking to the kids inside the Brady house. They were talking about the pool at a neighbor's house.

The kids were probably around 10. Good points about streaking, etc. around that time--I kinda remember that now that you mention it.
