All 222 episodes of the initial 1988-1997 run of Roseanne Barr's classic ABC sitcom will roll out remastered editions on cable, streaming and digital — including CMT, TV Land, Peacock and Cozi TV — starting March 3.

Previously they could not remaster old videotaped shows for high definition--it's possible Roseanne was shot with digital video and this could come out better.

It'd be interesting to know if this could be done with any older shows, such as ones that date back to the 70s.

I'm more than happy with my dvd and their resolution... it's not that the original was shot by David Lean with cinematography by Jack Cardiff.

There's not a single show that i loved from the 90s where I felt the urge to see the upscaled version.
