The Big Bang Theory is joining Nick@Nite lineup starting early Dec 25

Now that Friends is leaving. I wonder how that would change the ratings for Nick at Nite?

Video Music Awards 2025 will air in all Paramount networks, TVInsider shows TBA, so it's like Nickelodeon will air those on Sept 7 at 7pm-8pm, might likely be nick@nite brand? However 8pm Nick@Nite is NOT airing 2025 Video Music Awards Pre Show, but I have a feeling it could be subject to change.

I will later try to do catchup schedules for mid July and until mid August schedules. For 7 weeks Nick@Nite was doing The Big Bang Theory for summer event airing as each block referring best of each characters, but for some reason they did NOT display screentext to identify which character is the focus, as we have to figure out for ourselves, since no press release indicate this.

Nickandmore confirmed that the show is leaving for good, after 14 years, after September 4.

"Nick at Nite is losing Friends. After 14 years, the sitcom appears to be no longer airing on Nickelodeon's nighttime programming block.

Friends debuted on the block on September 5, 2011. It's last scheduled airing is on September 4, 2025 at 11:30pm ET/PT.

The Big Bang Theory will move up to 11pm, with more Modern Family and the return of The Neighborhood filling the late-night timeslots."

I just made new thread with new schedule as of starting next week. Starting Sept 5, 8pm hour is SpongeBob and movie at 9pm.

I think Friends departure due to Paramount and Skydance merger, and it might be expensive to renew the contract. TBS and local syndications will continue to air the show though. As for social media fans, I'm not sure how they will react once Friends leaves for good, but I'm expecting lot of outrage for this, given there's Friends fanbase, and ratings really have been doing well.
