What happened with CBS in terms of sitcoms in the 1980s?
Why couldn't CBS find success on every other night besides Monday nights, where they had string of hits like Newhart, Kate & Allie, Designing Women, and Murphy Brown. Could it be the shows elsewhere on the network weren’t appealing or were there better shows in that time slot on other networks that viewers liked?
