It used to come on FETV (Family Entertainment Television) and the last time that I checked, it has been streaming on Hulu and airing on Antenna TV, but otherwise, has the show for the most part, faded from the cultural zeitgeist? One theory behind this that I read is that Julia's 'topical' monologues might have dated badly. Also, Les Moonves and his open contempt for the show probably contributed to its muted popularity after its finale.

Most of the show has dated very poorly. It was very "now" for the late 1980s and early 1990s. It just no longer fits in the world of today. One has to know the context and references of the era and before that so it just needs to essentially stay where it belongs in the past....just like Murphy Brown.
