Why by the time we get to Season 10, there were like 3-4 adults living in the house and they still couldn’t pay any bills? It wasn't like Roseanne and Dan worked under the table their whole lives and Dan was still doing construction at least part-time. If Dan had stayed at his state job, then couldn't he have retired with decent benefits? So why in all of this, was Dan angry that Chuck actually prepared for retirement?
