Do You Think 'Card Sharks' Was One Of The WORST Game Shows Ever?!?

If you were to ask any game show fan why in the world Card Sharks even existed would most likely answer "because it was sure to gain a following". But in anyone's eyes Card Sharks was one of the worst ideas for a game show in history. When people first saw Card Sharks they thought it would be like the 70's early version of Catch-21 but when people saw survey type questions this show was the beginning of a new style of game show and the survey type of game show format would be repeated with Family Feud in 1976. But I think the main reason why Card Sharks was destined to be popular was because Mark Goodson was hoping for another monster hit game show after the success of the 70's The Price Is Right and when it debuted Card Sharks took off like a rocket. But I think Markie Post as a Card Sharks dealer made her a huge star because if it hadn't been for Card Sharks Markie Post would've never been famous in sitcoms such as Night Court and Hearts Afire. But you can see why there has been no revival of Card Sharks since the unappealing 2001 revival because Card Sharks is virtually underrated as a game show and you can see where Drew Carey's debut game show Power Of 10 got inspiration for the format and the gameplay because Power Of 10 was essentially a new version of Card Sharks with a name change. But don't count on another Card Sharks revival in the future because as we learned with the Joel McHale version it does fail
