That scene in the opening title sequence where Blanche had her hand in her shirt sleeve was a cut scene from the episode “Break-In”. Here are the script pages for the missing scene.

This is really cool to know because all the other segments most fans can attach to episodes. For such a long run, its rare the show never changed the theme song or opening during its long run.

I wonder if this short bit did air originally and then got cut for reasons?

Kind of wish others were “resurfaced” as well, that we see in the opening but never in the episodes. That one episode in season 1 shows Dorothy throwing her hands up while they’re sitting on the couch next to Blanche. I believe it’s the Transplant episode. There’s also a bunch in the intro of The Golden Palace where it’s like “ffs what is the context of this scene?”
