Gregory recounts watching Doris Day film The Glass Bottom Boat on Catalina Island, landing his first dinner theater role, and moving into leading man status by 1975.

He reminisces about working with iconic guest stars on Trapper John like silent film star, Sylvia Sydney, his 3 1/2 year role in General Hospital, playing bad guy Michael Sharpe on Falcon Crest, and working with Lynda Carter on the Wonder Woman pilot. Gregory also recalls his friendship with Patrick Duffy during The Man from Atlantis, working with Billy Crystal on The Enola Gay, and Kurt Russell in the play Hasty Heart, where a mistake by Kurt Russell almost cost him an eye.

He opens up about overcoming drug addiction, which nearly derailed his career and marriage to CHiPs actress Randi Oakes. Gregory shares amazing surfing highlights filming the North Shore, the crazy success of his film For Ladies Only, and his love for surfing, including time spent with legendary surfer Gerry Lopez.
