I wonder if this will be available on January 28. Amazon has a listing for it, but you can't pre-order it yet. They already delayed it from November.
The Age of Aquarius dawned. Harry Boyle forgot to set his alarm. Inspired by the era of live-action TV series such as All in The Family comes Hanna-Barbera's generation-gap animated comedy series Wait Till Your Father Gets Home. Tom Bosley provides the voice of Harry, an affable 40-something Everyman and suburban father of three whose daily routine is anything but when he faces the provocative questions of the make-love-not-war era. Women's Lib, civil rights, hippies, sexuality, communes and the Cold War are some of the hot button petals in this series' flower-powered laughfest. They're all part of Harry's world, where a man's home is his hassle. This complete series set of two seasons and 48 episodes is highlighted by guest voice appearances from Monty Hall, Don Knotts, Phyllis Diller and Rich Little. I’ll pass! Of all comedies to become dated, “Wait…” takes the cake.*
[*Maybe second only to “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.”] I may grab a view of “Wait” on MeTV Toons, but at this time I have yet to do so. Y M M V cd |

I'm assuming this Blu-Ray must have the MeTvToons remasters. I'm very excited to get my hands on this once my next paycheck comes in. I personally adore this show and it's place in HB and Cartoon history in general. I find it charming, clever, and it keeps my interest. Once MeTVToons started airing it once a week on sundays at 9 it become a routine for me. It's certainly got it's flaws but I love this style of show and this specific era commentary. Turns a switch in my brain. It was a shame only being able to catch it once a week but now that Rocky And Bullwinkle has been pulled from the MeTVToons schedule due to the distributor of the show Wildbrain requesting the network to pull the show from the air, in order to fill up some of the lost R&BW slots. Now WTYFGH is airing every week about half an hour earlier which works great for my personal schedule. I love Moose & Squirrel as much as any guy, but I would be lying if I didn't say that the expansion of WTYFGH on the schedule made me happy. I never thought it would or could happen but I'm very happy, it feels as if they're catering specifically to me and me alone with this one
. Now if they could just remove The Wacky World Of Tex Avery from the schedule entirely I'd be the happiest man in the world. WTYFGH isn't for everyone but it's most CERTAINLY for me!
