I agree. "The Benefit Show" was probably the worst episode of "What's Happening!!" Not only that, it was also the final episode of the series.

Yes they ran out of ideas at this point especially since they ripped up the house and found stolen money

Season 3 was awful. A lot of the episodes were terrible Dwayne's Dream, Dee the Cheerleader, The Last Page (parody of the ABC sitcoms), First Class Coach.

No more Mama

Raj and Rerun move into an apartment

Snake was a pointless character.

Danielle Spencer looks disinterested and her acting is painful to watch.

Little Earl = Cousin Oliver Syndrome and so annoying. His "crush" on Dee was cringy and felt forced.

Dont forget The Thomas Treasure. That is my favorite from season 3. Its so dumb that its fantastic ripping apart a house looking for money. Shirley had some fall out the chair funny lines in this episode. IMHO its the highlight of a dull season 3.

I watched the Benefit show recently. Dee is not a great singer but she appears to be reading her lines of cue cards while singing. Next time you watch the show, check it out.

I wish they would have booooed Little Earl off the stage

Season 3 had some bad ones but seasons 1 & 2 had some klunkers too. Season 1. The maid did it. Raj goes begging for Mama's job after her employers fire her for theft with no proof. From here to maternity. Way too much time spent on a nonregular cast member. Season 2 Nothing Personnel. Company hires Shirley because she's black but they don't want her to work. That was a real fun episode. I didn't like Give me the Odds. Too much time spent on Ike and he was way too mean to Rerun. Bill gets Married. In his ex-wife's house. Never to be seen or heard from again. Diplomatic Immunity. Thirty five year old high school student. On Season three, agree The Last Page was the worst. All it was, was promotion for ABC's other shows. Poor Raj & Dwayne had to wear those ridiculous outfits. The benefit show was weird because they featured no other talent than their immediate group. I liked Dwayne on the Drums and Raj's solo but Raj should have practiced more.

And it was pathetic that she went back to work for them after accusing her of stealing. I would have rather been broken and looking.

I liked give me the odds because Im a sanford and son fan and loved rollo lol
