Default Buffalo Bill

Does anyone here remember this show? Anyone else here seen it? I'm not real sure why it got released on DVD. It's pretty dull. But it's nice to see Geena Davis in an early role. It also features a pre-Night Court Charles Robinson, a pre-Alf Max Wright and a pre-Designing Women Meshach Taylor. But Dabney Coleman stinks IMO.

I bought the complete series dvd a few months ago and I liked it. I thought the cast had great chemistry. Coleman was great as Bill Bittinger. I love the theme song.

Coleman had several shows in a row that all flopped and he always played an unlikable character!

Night Court actually was a mid-season replacement for Buffalo Bill.

I remember actually liking this one quite a bit. If I remember correctly, it was a critical hit, but never pulled in the ratings to last.

It Was a Thing on TV: Episode 413--Buffalo Bill

Quote:
Like Schuckapalooza last year, we're devoting a number of episodes to an actor, this time Dabney Coleman. First up is a show which didn't get many viewers, despite praise from critics. It's a show that, after cancellation, Brandon Tartikoff said was one of his biggest regrets. Coleman plays the prickly title character in the 80s classic Buffalo Bill.

The last episode is very interesting at 11:45 in when he confronts the priest about sexual misconduct on kids - Church of the Poisoned Mind -Season 2, Episode 14. With all the allegations and misconduct confirmed in several major cities in the 2000's all over the country it makes you wonder - did Buffalo Bill know something ?. Wow how ironic.
