It’s Lisa. Mindy follows everyone but her on instagram and made note to that being who it is. Mindy should take the high road in this one.

I have noticed that Mindy doesn’t have Lisa as a friend on Instagram anymore, but Lisa still has Mindy on her Instagram and still likes a few of her things. But that is to bad if those two have had a falling out cause Lisa seems like she would be a nice person and I can’t see her being the type that would sabotage a friendship like that, especially with a lifelong friend.

Just checked MindyÂ’s instagram and saw that she is following Lisa again so maybe they ate starting to repair there broken relationship, i hope anyways. And as sad as it is to not get a facts reboot, I am glad that they did do a reunion movie back in 2001 even though Nancy wasn’t a part of it.

Cliff-notes: There was supposed to be a Facts of Life reboot and writers were hired for the project, but one of the cast members tried to secure a spin-off for more money. Mindy was hurt because they'd all been good friends for 40 years. She won't name who tried to get the spin-off, but said people can draw their own conclusions from who she's posted and not posted on her social media in recent years.

Is this from the same woman who was given a chance to do 1 more season of series but decided against it along with Nancy Mckeon? Season 10 would have ended the series on the right foot. Mrs. Garrett said that she would be back from the Peace Corp after 2 years, Charlotte Rae could have been asked back to help give the series a definitive closure but we will never know. The same woman that distanced herself from the cast and wanted to do other projects before the show was canceled. Now, the same woman who said that the cast was ready for a reboot but 1 cast member hindered the project. They all seem nice from a far but no one really knows when it comes to money. It’s best to let the show stay in the past where it belongs.

I think Mindy Cohn should have kept this situation private. On other forums, I'm seeing people post racist statements against Kim Fields and anti-religious statements against Lisa Whelchel. Terrible! People make mistakes. How can the guilty party ever be forgiven or fully accepted back into the group with all this negative chatter and speculation around?

Default The Show Had...

a couple instances that could have served/worked as a finale, had the show ended earlier. The end of season 4, and the two-part opening to season 8.

Those two work much better than what actually did serve as the series finale.

Mindy did say that the greedy one and she were somewhat talking again, or something to that effect, though that the trust was gone. I've also seen articles saying Mindy said none of the cast were talking to each other at one point, though I don't think that's what Mindy said/meant.

Maybe Mindy should have kept this to herself- though maybe all the publicity will lead to interest and the show getting revived.

I found this interview to be very unsettling, as a fan. It’s clear Mindy has issues with Lisa, and projected it here. To imply that Lisa isn’t up to her acting standards was just rude. Yes, Lisa didn’t act for many years, but she has gotten back into it. She made several movies, and hosts a TV show that’s now in its 6th season. Mindy said that people would be disappointed by Lisa’s acting.

I had high hopes that we would one day see the reboot, but I guess that ends that hope.

She didn’t say that one of them didn’t want to do it, she said one of them went behind the other three’s backs to get her own series. It’s def Whelchel.

Btw, there’s no believable way the four women would be back together again even from a storyline POV. Their lives are too dissimilar and they all have families. It would seem very forced.

Molly said Mindy was the mean girl on the set. Mindy certainly looks like the mean girl here.

It's why I don't want a reboot, but I'd like to see 20 or 30 minutes to close them off. The real women probably keep in touch with each other a lot more than the girls would at this point.

But Mrs. Garrett is dead so we'd like to see how they react to that. What facts can they take about the good and the bad in all this time?

Frankly, I think they could just have a long chat on zoom or something. The girls aren't close anymore but they would all have links to the Eastland Graduates website, and at some point they'd have created a private group called "Over Our Heads." They're as caught-up on each other's lives as they want to be, it's the audience who doesn't know anything about it.

But just as the girls spent a decade or so together, so did these four actresses, which made their lives what they are today. I've probably given more thought than I should to how this final episode should go, "The Facts of..."

And just to add, I have no problem with cameos from the "Lost Girls" getting the news about Mrs. Garrett, but it's not their show so that's all. What really bothers me would be the question about Todd Bridges.

He would deserve just as much of a cameo, but from a character standpoint, he dealt with several other maids just to get through "Different Strokes" and it's been decades since then. Mrs. Garrett was nice but that was a long long time ago.

I think it would be disrespectful to Todd Bridges to limit him saying 'she was nice, I liked her' but any more would mean asking what's up with Arnold and Kimberly these days, which, well, would need a lot more attention than Willis getting a cameo on "The Facts of..." Frankly he would deserve his own "Different Stroke" look at what his life has been.

I told you I probably think about this more than I should.
