That Girl--even though it was just a cheap TV show, the music and opening sequences always felt to me like a big budget 1960s musical. It also captured that perfect time in the 1960s when mod and the Youthquake were at its peak.
Taxi--love the laid back, groovy music and how simple the opening is. No corny freeze frames or anything to date the show. Married with Children--I didn't realize how much I really liked this until I started watching a terrible syndicated version without Love and Marriage. Night Court/Barney Miller--love the music, composed by the same guy. Drew Carey Show--loved all the different versions (Moon Over Parma, Cleveland Rocks, Five O'Clock World) |
