I also agree, on June 10th they aired a small segment of William Smolinski who has been missing since Aug 24th 2004. To read more info on Billy go to www.justice4Billy.com

I used to watch it more often- it is interesting, but personally, since the format was changed when they almost cancelled the show a few years back, I cannot stand the John Walsh anymore.

It was better when it was a fugitive documentary- now they put snips in glamorizing cops or glorifying deeds not related to fugitive profiles.

And John Walsh looks like a fool trying to play the tuff guy. Give credit where it is due- but AMW is slimey and tacky now.

I wish they would refocus on fugitve profiles and information and Walsh wold step down and join the circus or something because AMW is an annoying clown act.

Hmm. I guess that nowadays playing the tough guy is both politically incorrect and "offensive."

I did not say it was either, I said it was annoying.

I know what you said and didn't say. I was only making a comment in response to your previous post.

Instead of being sarcstic to an individual's response to an OP- maybe you should just address the OP instead ?

Otherwise people will think you are just another troll on a message board.

I was just using some ironic humor toward the nature of your response, especially about John Walsh's acting tough being "annoying." I figured that if it were "annoying," then I thought I'd jokingly suggest other terms to describe it.

By the way, I edited my previous message so that the sarcastic nature of it has been retracted. (Indeed, "ironic humor" and "sarcasm" are similar, but they are not entirely the same.)

Wow! This thread went 2 YEARS between posts!

I still watch but I agree with others that it's just not as good as it used to be although they occasionally have very interesting stories such as the guy from the 50s who killed an entire family and then escaped in the 60s and they NEVER found him! A QUADRUPLE murderer has been totally free and now he's in his old age or could be dead!

I also agree that there is too much of a focus on pedophilia. John Walsh is still a good host but he can't do the show forever.

Well, no one can since everyone is mortal. But I suppose his hosting job will taken from his cold dead hands (to paraphrase the late great Charlton Heston).

In any case, I have no doubt that John Walsh will continue to host AMW until he is no longer able to.

I just found out some VERY interesting NEGATIVE info on John Walsh. I was reading a law enforcement forum and posts by some people who have actually MET John Walsh and it seems he doesn't treat women well and even some of the people who work with him don't like him.

WOW! It sounds like John might be quite the womanizer. I did hear he left his first wife for a while or something. If John rubs someone the wrong way then HE could be profiled on AMW!!

LMAO!!
