It's 1985 and the NBC Television Network is enjoying great success with a slate of highly popular and successful shows. Recently appointed network president Brandon Tartikoff is credited with turning NBC around, but there are a few shows that just didn't catch on with audiences - one being Misfits of Science.

An eclectic group of young misfits find themselves with extraordinary superpowers. Led by goofy scientist Dean Paul Martin they form a team and battle crime every week. Or at least that was the plan. Misfits of Science would only last fifteen episodes and would eventually be cancelled.
