Extended Family was cancelled and Lopez vs. Lopez was renewed, ending the recent NBC trend of sticking with low rated sitcoms after freshman season then cancelling after sophomore season.

Happy's Place was ordered to series, the new sitcom starring Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman. It was a pleasant surprise finding out Pablo Castelblanco from Alaska Daily and Reba's boyfriend are in the cast. I want Night Court paired with Happy's Place, not St. Denis Medical which I have no interest in. They won't be live viewing anyway though if still on against FBI.

TNT and ESPN usually air NBA doubleheaders. Do we really need NBA (or, by extension, NHL) doubleheaders airing on the broadcast nets? That is what got me worried about Comcast/NBCUniversal's bid for the NBA. An NBA/NHL doubleheader would force local affiliates' newscasts and late-night talk shows to be delayed by over an hour. Such doubleheaders are better suited for a cable network.

Dick Van Dyke became the oldest ever daytime Emmy winner at 98 for his guest appearance on Days of Our Lives (bugs me that none of the articles I have seen mention who the previous oldest winner was ). NBC should air this historic episode in primetime so those who don't have Peacock can see it.
