Default The Trial of the Incredible Hulk

On Tubi I found a movie called The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk and it debuted in 1989 and starred Bill Bixby as The Incredible Hulk as he prepares to go on trial for a crime. The movie also features Lance Lyon as Daredevil. I didn't even know Tubi had some rare movies with Marvel heroes until I saw this movie and I took a peek of it because I just started liking The Incredible Hulk
Was this movie a underrated movie when it debuted?

Define "underrated". The TV numbers were good but it was probably the weakest of the reunion Hulk movies.

Every Marvel Movie That Isn't Part Of The MCU

Quote:
The Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrigno Incredible Hulk Movies (1977–1990)

One of the most successful non-MCU Marvel movie outings was the 1977 The Incredible Hulk TV show, starring Bill Bixby as David Banner and Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk. Banner's tragic story starts with a one-hour movie called The Incredible Hulk, followed by the more comedic The Return of The Incredible Hulk, 1988's The Incredible Hulk Returns (which also featured the first live-action version of Thor), 1989's The Trial of The Incredible Hulk, and 1990's tragic finale, The Death of The Incredible Hulk. The movies and the show are known for capturing the pain of Hulk's duality, and their influence can even be felt throughout the Hulk's tumultuous MCU journey.

Rex Smith is the actor that played Daredevil, he had a brief singing career and played the lead in the short lived series Street Hawk.

The movie itself was ok and standard as TV movies go but the all black leotard they made Daredevil wear was just cheap and looked like he was wearing a full size panty hose, supposedly it was made black instead of the traditional red because of the hype surrounding the 1989 Batman movie.

DadTheKing got to see The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk today and he loved it and he encouraged me to watch it especially since it had Daredevil in it too and Daredevil is one of my Marvel crushes. How did this TV movie come about? Because when I first heard about The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk I never knew I'd see the day when Daredevil and The Incredible Hulk would team up together. And I find it hard to believe that the original Daredevil Rex Smith was also a singer. Oh, My goodness another Marvel hero that sang in the 70's. Boy those Marvel heroes love to sing as a hobby
