Default Richard Pryor and Lou Gossett Jr guest starred on this show?-lol

I turned to Antenna TV and saw Richard Pryor and Lou Gossett on the episode called "Soul Club" that aired in 1974. This was defintely the shock of the day-lol

BTW: The mother in this show was HOT

That was an unusual episode.

If you like seeing Shirley, be sure to watch for the episode guest starring Norman Fell (who later played Mr. Roper on Three's Company and The Ropers). Shirley wears a miniskirt and boots in that one. H-O-T

That was a good episode, could have been called "The Partridge Family Goes To The Ghetto".

The Partridge Family was based in the fictional town of San Pueblo, California. But the "Soul Club" episode took place in Detrioit which was a stop on on a tour the Partridge's were on.

According to the episode the booking agents got the dates and peformances mixed up. The Temptations were scheduled to play at that spot in Detroit, and the Partridge's were booked elsewhere, but somehow they got switched.

Here's a pic of Shirley Jones and Norman Fell in the PF episode, "The Undergraduate". Sorry I couldn't make it bigger. But the episode is also on YouTube if you're interested, Sol.

I don't know why, but I immediately thought of this episode after hearing the news about Louis Gossett Jr.'s passing:
