Ranking the seasons from the best to worst

1. Season 1: This season is the PEAK, and I would say it's the only season of Baywatch that's generally a good season. You have the episodes about Mädchen Amick being a dangerous stalker, earthquakes, sharks, etc. The pilot is the episode that hooked me up, it's easily my favorite episode from the whole show as expected, but the whole season is just as good with its great cast. Once you enjoy the pilot, you will enjoy the entire season.
   
2. Season 4: The double-episode about a plane crash, and another double-episode about the haunted hotel room, with all its strong cast. It's pretty much the same as Season 3, but stronger and it's easily one of the most entertaining seasons.
   
3. Season 3: Once Pamela Anderson and a few other new cast members join, it finally feels like a fresh beginning. It's pretty entertaining, and the goodbye to two original characters was so beautiful. C.J. (Pamela Anderson) doing the photoshoot is possibly my absolute favorite scene of the whole show. The episode about a beautiful blonde on the motorbike is also really good.
   
4. Season 6: Definitely stronger than Season 5, with a better visual style. The biggest issue with the season is that the episode order is a mess and not chronological. This is also the case for Seasons 7, 8, 9, and 11. Luckily, I fixed the order for all of them (you can check the advice below for details). However, I never understood the point of adding Neely, and her horrible personality makes her arguably the worst character on Baywatch.
   
5. Season 2: I was a bit surprised by how much it changed compared to the first season, but I would call it a pretty solid season with one of my favorite episodes ("If Looks Could Kill"). Doing the crossover with Gilligan's Island is so random, lol.
   
6. Season 5: I think it's the season where I felt it lost a bit of its magic after one actress left. The visual style felt a bit bland with not many summery vibes because they filmed lots of scenes with gray clouds if I remember correctly, which I hated (but understandable). Also, there were many weak episodes.
   
7. Season 8: I thought it officially "jumped the shark" after two actresses that everyone finds the most attractive left, but no, it still kept quite good. The standard seemed more normal than Season 7, and it has some of the best episodes ("Charlie" and "Missing"). It also has three surprise appearances. The season finale about Alaska is also good. It's overall a bit better than Season 7, which I didn't expect.
   
8. Season 7: This season tries a little too hard to be different and random. For example, they made an episode about firefighters that was supposed to be a pilot for a possible new series. Other examples include the mermaid episode and the one where a lifeguard claims someone is a vampire. There's even an episode inspired by the Phantom of the Opera. Also, too many new casts, but left after this season. It's kind of funny how random this season is, lacking any emotional moments, lol.
   
9. Season 9: The supposed final season set in Malibu. Watching the whole season almost feels like you're working a job while everyone else is on vacation. While all the characters I loved were gone, the season turned out to be better than expected. The standard remains about the same as Season 8, with heartwarming moments. One of the lifeguards finally smacking someone who deserved it for a long time wasn't just a memorable Baywatch moment, but one of the most satisfying moments of the 90s television. I really like the new cast, Alex! There's also a reference that I find good satire, lol.
   
10. Season 10 (Baywatch Hawaii - Season 1): Set in Hawaii, and supposed to be called Baywatch Hawaii. It's a lot weaker, but I don't think it's extremely unwatchable. It just made me feel tired watching all 9 seasons, and it basically feels dead after one important character slowly disappears, but the new cast grow on me. Overall, I would call this season alright.
    
11. Baywatch Nights - Season 2: The writers clearly lost their minds when they decided to throw supernatural elements into this season, and I kind of loved it, lol. It's undeniably cheesy and cheap, but I enjoyed it slightly more than the first season because I generally prefer horror to detective stories. The bridge scene between Mitch and one of the lifeguards from the original show is one of the most touching moments. Overall, while not a good season, it does have David Hasselhoff and Angie Harmon, who is also a watchable actress, so I was fine through the season.
    
12. Baywatch Nights - Season 1: It is supposed to be about Mitch working on nights as a detective (lie, there are lots of episodes where he works during the day, lol). It's good, the quality made it look like you're watching erotic thriller '90s movies made for TV. I don't mind the 4:3 ratio and low quality, the main issue with it is most episodes of only this season have auto subtitles on YouTube (I'm deaf), so I set up 2x speed anyway. "The Curator" episode is probably the best episode of the whole show because it felt like it belonged in the original show.
    
13. Season 11 (Baywatch Hawaii - Season 2): It was torture trying to finish the show. It's almost unwatchable how bad it got. The first season of Hawaii is decent, but some of the casts are gone, and the new cast of it already sucks. Too many boring romances. It clearly shows it has finally lost its magic, jumped the shark, and officially died. But Pat Morita (best known for The Karate Kid) was one of the best parts of the season and generally one of the best actors in the whole show. The Baywatch Nights seasons are average, but this season is the only unwatchable season in the whole show. It has a few good episodes, especially the episode about the stalker, though.
