To me why this series was made was simply for the Selena estate to make more money to see what other Selena projects are being planned to honor her as a legend. In my eyes I think Selena and her family should've looked into Yolanda's history before hiring her as the fan club president and if someone smart would've been managing Selena's fan club Selena would still be alive. How they got Yolanda to be the fan club president is something I never figured out because I think Selena's father hired her because he couldn't find anyone smart to run Selena's fan club. But what I think Abraham Quintanilla was more concerned about how the band was gonna continue with Chris Perez's relationship with Selena because I did hear from my mom that Selena was going to have a baby and move to Mexico and buy a house there with her money.
