They do drive the dysfunctional family/extended family point home, episode after episode.

I used to watch it most evenings, but I've fallen out of the habit. I do know others who still have it on nightly.

I think it was old and tired the way Raymond has to keep pestering his wife for sex. It was actually sending a crappy message, like all men have to beg for it.

I've never liked ELR. I told an older family member this when the show was originally airing and she said I would like it more when I grew older. I'm older and I still don't like it.

I didn't watch it in its hey day, but it would be on when I had my little part time job so I was able to listen to it. I hated the sound of Ray Romano's voice, and I didn't like the show at all.
I too am much older now and I still don't like the show, I won't even watch t out of boredom.

The mother is way to bossy and pushy, has no right to constantly barge into their home on what seems like daily basis.
Ray is a spineless man that can't even put his mother in check and defend his wife.
Rays constant begging for sex from his wife, (that is so bytchy all the time, and one would ask why would he even want sex from her anyway) is uncomfortable to watch when there are young kids round.

Robert is a loser and a little slow to still be living at home with his parents that are not positive and healthy to be around in the first place.
Amy, is a little "off" which she would have to be in order to be interested and marry Robert.

The Father us a crappy crabby unhappy old man that is simply miserable all the time.
