Update: A&E Cancels "The Glades"
by Nellie Andreeva
Thursday August 29, 2013 A 3rd season renewal is likely to happen for A&E's most watched drama series "Longmire", however the outlook is not as bright for A&E’s other drama series "The Glades". "The Glades" has been making year-to-year ratings declines, so a 5th season renewal seems unlikely to happen. The network has not made a final decision as of yet. http://www.deadline.com/2013/08/long...producer-says/ |

Dang, I like the Glades. I hope they get another season or at least half a season just to wrap up the cliffhanger.

A&E’s "The Glades" Canceled after Four Seasons
by NELLIE ANDREEVA Friday August 30, 2013 There will be no fifth season for A&E’s veteran drama "The Glades". I hear the network made the decision this morning. "The Glades", from Fox TV Studios, was the first A&E scripted series to stick and helped establish the network’s scripted brand. "Glades'" ratings continued to go down as the show progressed which ultimately lead to its cancellation. http://www.deadline.com/2013/08/glades-cancelled-amc/ |

geez, maybe if they promoted it half as much as they do for any of those stupid reality shows it would've had a chance?
also the irregular scheduling really sucked. so I guess this means Jim is dead on his wedding day? (i'd say spoilers, but its the network that spoiled it - he probably would've lived if the show was renewed) oh and Longmire is a bunch of crap and can die a fiery death of boredom. |

I know that I don't have much room to say this considering the fact that I only started watching this show last month through the DVDs, but to me, cancelling this show was the most brain dead move that the A&E network made where the show is concerned!!!
![]() God bless you and everyone of the show always!!! ![]() Holly P.S. To me, Matt Passmore couldn't be anymore of a precious!!!

The Glades Season 5 Isn't Happening: Why The Show Was Canceled
A&E’s The Glades was canceled before season 5, with no plans to bring the crime drama back despite The Glades season 4's cliffhanger end. Here's why. |
