TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 125,147	The O.C. considered Emma Stone for Kaitlin Cooper https://ew.com/the-oc-emma-stone-kaitlin-cooper-8407192 In the new book Welcome to The O.C.: The Oral History, released today, The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz and executive producer Stephanie Savage team up with TV critic Alan Sepinwall to look back at the Fox drama series, including the re-casting of an older Kaitlin Cooper after she was originally played by Shailene Woodley. "We saw quite a few people for that," Savage recalls, according to EW. "We saw Hayden Panettiere, we saw Britt Robertson. Lily Collins." Schwartz adds: "We had a meeting with Emma Stone," who Savage says looked like Melinda Clarke, who played Julie Cooper. But ultimately, Schwartz says Stone "felt green in that moment."
