So no sighting in almost 30 years, never gotten in trouble with the law in any other state or tried contacting Denise in all that time? I am guessing Denise's sheriff father and some cop friends put him 6 ft under sometime in the 90's.

interesting theory, I don't agree...but that's right out of the Yellowstone playbook though if you have watched that show. with that said I don't understand why N.P. B. didn't just serve his time, move on, and stop abusing women.

Honestly, I can definitely see this being a possibility. Narcissistic sociopaths like RU never truly keep quiet or a low profile.

Have to give the reissued episodes some props here, the music sting they used at the tail end of the segment showing his mug shots and listing his last known info gave me chills, haven't had that from this show in years.

Even if Denise was manipulative--and honestly, I don't think she was-Denise did not deserve to be nearly killed by this wacko. Still think this guy is dead though. |

he could be dead by now, but I think he is a fugitive that law enforcement maybe do not care about. so he could be out there getting his heart broken by some other lady that has had enough of his nerdy possessiveness.

I am 100% convinced he is still alive and somewhere in the Missouri area.

I am no private investigator nor do I think that I am particularly bright, however, I fell down a rabbit hole a few years ago when trying to find any information as to the whereabouts of Dennis Watson (suspect in Oliver Munson's disappearance) and managed to find a man who was a dead ringer for him on Facebook. But since Oliver Munson was still classified as a missing person, Watson was not wanted by any law enforcement agency.
I mention the above because for the last few days I've scoured everything trying to find something similar with regards to Utterback. I've found who I believe to be members of his family on Facebook. I randomly came across a profile of someone named "Randy Utterback" and their profile picture was Utterback's mugshot. That person had 1 friend, roughly the same age as Utterback, and also living within ten minutes of where Utterback's parents are believed to be still living in Centralia, MO (this person does not look anything like Utterback so I don't think it's him, but possibly someone he knew). So that leaves the following possibilities, IMO: -Someone made a fake Utterback Facebook profile and for reasons unknown friend requested this person who may or may not have known the real Utterback. -Someone made a fake Utterback profile and friend requested random people in Missouri and only one of them accepted the request. -This person who may or may not have known Utterback created the fake profile and friended himself. -This person is Utterback (or someone close to him) and they created this profile (back in 2013 IIRC it was easier to look at people's profiles that you were not friends with) to stalk or look at profiles on Facebook and friended this person because they legitimately know each other. I don't know which of the above is most likely, but I do find it really, really weird that someone would make a "joke" Randall Utterback profile, keep the profile public and not post anything, and then have 1 friend who just so happens to be the same age and within 10 miles of where his parents live. |

People create fake profiles all the time. I wouldn't spend another second thinking about this one. Just somebody with nothing better to do, and in my mind obviously not RU himself.

Tangentially related: One of my absolute favorite moments on this message board in all my years of being here was being able to catch those anti-Denise posts a (long banned) member made pretending to be at least four different and totally made-up members of Randall Utterback's family and friends in that narrow window before one or more of the mods deleted them. The poster even typed them up in what they thought was a rural, southern way of speaking. The pure effort that went into that simping. Mystifying. |
