Actor Robert Carradine posted a photo of a residual check he received for zero dollars, as he showed his support for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike on Friday.

The Lizzie Maguire star, 69, who famously played Hilary Duff's dad on the Disney Channel’s hit show, shared a picture of the check he got from Walt Disney Pictures' Disney Worldwide Services Inc., made for $0.00.

'Why we're striking...' he captioned the photo of the check, which was issued to him in August 2019, and appears to be for his work on Lizzie Maguire.

Carradine portrayed Sam McGuire on series from 2001 to 2004 for a total of 65 episodes — as well as his role in 2003’s The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

'PERFECT,' actress Jamie Lee Curtis wrote in the comments, commending Carradine for showing why the unions are holding out for a new contract in order to get better wages and residuals in an era of streaming content.

Other fans and followers also shared their support for the actor in the comments section.

'$0 for the greatest Disney dad of all time? That's brutal,' one wrote.

Another person questioned why the company even bothered sending the check.

'They spent more money printing and mailing that what you for it's crazy.'

'They wasted paper and postage just to send a $0 check. It literally would have been more respectful for them to send an agent to spit in your face. At least that's personal service.'

'Time for consumers to discontinue their streaming services,' yet another commentator added.

Others continued to marvel at the fact that Disney would pay the postage to send a check for zero dollars.

'Wow... and the kicker is, it actually cost more in postage to send you a check for $0.00. They payed the damn post office more than they paid you for your work. Stay in the fight, strike on.'

'Why in the heck would they mail a check for $0!?!' You were the greatest, you don't deserve that! Makes me so mad.'

'Sam McGuire doesn't deserve this!!' another added in reference to his character.

A Lizzie McGuire reboot began filming in 2019 but was officially canceled by 2020.

While filming began and two episodes of the reboot were created, the show was marred by creative differences before it could ever air.

Carradine's on screen daughter Hilary has also been seen joining the picket line in Los Angeles. The 35-year-old actress even belted out What Dreams Are Made Of from her 2003 film The Lizzie McGuire Movie while striking, according to People.

Carradine is not the first actor to show his dismal residual checks.

Earlier this week Abbott Elementary star William Stanford Davis held up a residual check for just five cents.

'I've been a screen actor for 35 years. I've been in the guild about 32 years and I'll let this speak for itself,' Davis said in the clip.

He showed the check close to the camera so his audience could see that he earned just $0.05 from an undisclosed rerun of a past TV show he appeared on.

'You see that? Do you believe that?' Davis continued, before calling out that the postage and the paper cost more than his residual check.

Hollywood actors went on strike earlier this month after talks with studios broke down, joining film and television writers who have been on picket lines since May and deepening the disruption of scores of shows and movies.

And it's likely the strike is going to affect award shows as well.

Fox is expected to announce soon that television's Emmys will be rescheduled to air in January next year due to the strikes.

Nominations for the highest honors in television were announced just before the dual work stoppage was declared and were expected to delay the Emmys ceremony beyond its normal September date.
