Default Revisiting The Unaired Gilligan's Island Pilot

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IkZ2neSamw

Quote:
Unaired for 29 years, the pilot episode of Gilligan's Island features all of your favorites... except the Professor, Mary Ann or Ginger. What was the show like with half of the characters missing?

The first episode is that the one where they were on thier ship and landed on the island??

I didnt see that one but I saw the last episode where they are rescued...... They should have made 1 more episode showing what they did once back on land.......

I didn't see the pilot. Was it basically the same as the first episode which started with the castaways already marooned on the island or did it show them departing from the marina in Hawaii?

There was never an episode of "Gilligan's Island" showing them get rescued.

There was however the made for TV movie that shows their rescue and how they have to adjust to life on the mainland after having been marooned for all those years-It was called "Rescue from Gilligan's Island".

After the theme song, the pilot episode starts by showing the Minnow already beached. No scenes in the episode proper showing them in the storm/on the water.

I'm not familiar with any follow-up movies, but they weren't rescued in the original series.

The last episode of the series was Gilligan the Goddess when he had to dress up like a lady.
Rescue From Gilligan's Island, the movie, is where they get rescued.
Spoiler Alert..................
They all get together for a reunion cruise and end up stranded on the same island again. LOL

Now you ruined it! Lulz!!

But, then they get rescued again and, after that, The Howell's decide to turn the island into a Fantasy Island-style resort in the second tv special. Then, in the last special, The Globetrotters and some robots drop by to have a basketball tourney.

I said Spoiler Alert. I've seen the movie many times and really like it. I've only seen the other two movies once so I hardly remember them.
