Were Marley and Rory the worst character additions to Glee - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Glee was supposed to be satirical and dark. But then bland, humorless, and boring characters like Marley and Rory were added. Their additions may have been fine had there been an ounce of irony in their performances and not played completely straight.

I didn't find Marley's character that too boring, even if she was declared to be a lukewarm, which is not a correct concern. At least her singing was strongly talented than Rory's TBH, IMO. The hatred on Marley Rose character was officially wrong.
