Can "In the House" be considered a spiritual successor to "Who's the Boss?"
Both Marion Hill and Tony Micelli on Who's the Boss? are ex-professional athletes who become housekeepers/male nannies to a divorced woman (Jackie Warren and Angela Bower respectively) and her family. I guess that Tiffany is the In the House equivalent to Samantha if she were instead, Angela's daughter instead of Tony's and Austin is the Jonathan equivalent.
