Default 10 TV Romances That Got Worse Over Time

https://screenrant.com/10-tv-romance...rse-over-time/

There are a number of notable TV romances that, as they went on, slowly got worse and worse.

In the series Dead to Me, which just finished its third and final season, one of the most important dynamics is that between Jen and Ben. These two people unexpectedly find in one another the kind of emotional sustenance and fulfillment that they have so long struggled to attain in their previous relationships.

Indeed, if there is one thing that television does well, it is romance, and there are a number of such beloved romances that have occurred throughout its history. For every beautiful coupling, however, there is another couple that gets progressively worse over time.

Tony Micelli and Angela Bower should be on the list. So should Niles Crane and Daphne Moon.

Ray and Debra was disfunctional to say the least. Debra was angry all the time because of the intrusiveness of Ray's mother, and that Ray was a lazy mama's boy. Besides she was stuck in that house and did not have a life of her own, not really. Couldnt blame her for being mad. They seemed to me an odd pairing anyway. Ray was a wimp. She deserved a more manly man, like the husband in Patricia Heaton's next sitcom, The Middle.

On "That 70's Show, Jackie and Kelso were two made for each other except he was an idiot who cheated on her. But I cant really blame him because Jackie was grating as can be. It didnt make much sense why the others liked her in their group or (in real life) she didnt gravitate to another group of people more like her (rich, spoiled, materialistic).

Jackie and Hyde were the weird relationship. Someone like Hyde except for the sex wouldnt spend ten minutes with Jackie. A better coupling would have been Hyde and Donna. Hyde did try however. If anything, Eric should have gone with Jackie, but Eric would have ended up miserable also because she would have bossed him around. Hyde wouldnt allow anyone to boss him around, which again, makes the pairing of Jackie strange.

Pardon my ignorance, who is Otis? Looking it up, it is a show called "Sex Education". Never saw it. I didnt think it was Otis Campbell although we did see his wife.

Where is Frasier and Lillith? They meet, get into a hot romance, get married and then argue passive/aggressively the rest of the time.

I strongly disagree about Niles and Daphne, I think once they got them together their relationship was good until the very end of the show.

Ross and Rachel together was stupid. I'll never understand that, I don't understand why any self-respecting woman would've been attracted to Ross Geller I couldn't stand him. As a guy, I would never be friends with him.

It's ironic that Kelso and Jackie from That 70s Show are on the list now that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are married in real life, LOL.
