Nick at Nite’s "See Dad Run" To End Run after Three Seasons

It is the end of the road for Nick at Nite‘s first original scripted comedy series "See Dad Run", starring Scott Baio. I have learned that Season 3 of the family sitcom, which is currently filming, will be its last, with production on the series wrapping in May for good.

There are five episodes left from "See Dad Run‘s" 20-episode second season, with the 13-episode Season 3 expected to air later this year — culminating with an hourlong series finale, which has been ordered in addition to the 13 regular episodes.

"See Dad Run‘s" cancellation after 3 seasons and the exit of Nick at Nite’s second original sitcom, "Wendell & Vinnie", after one leaves "Instant Mom" as the network’s only remaining original comedy series.

Too bad- I enjoyed the episodes that I caught of it. I'm sure Scott Baio will find something else to work on soon enough. I hope Mark Curry also finds another good TV project soon- it was so neat to see him back on the air in a sitcom again, after having not really seen him around since "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper".

I never was able to get into this show. I missed the only episode I was interested in seeing, the one with Al Molinaro and Tony Marshall.

i couldn't get into the show either - if I had know Al was going to make an appearance i would've tried to catch that though.

Nickelodeon just loves to cancel shows though, don't they?

Yeah they do, as much as FOX/NBC does.

I really liked the show and I'm gonna miss it. It's a lot better than the trash on Fox, NBC, CBS and ABC. At least "Instant Mom" and "The Haunted Hathaways" are still on. I hope they bring "See Dad Run" to DVD!

When will the rest of the episodes in last season of See Dad Run will air? Nickelodeon 2015 upfront didn't mention the new episodes of See Dad Run along with Instant Mom. See Dad Run hasn't been on the air after last December.

Thank you, there are only 7 episodes left of See Dad Run, just air them already Nickelodeon!!

Same thing with Instant Mom. It hasn't had a new episode since December, yet they were so quick to order a third season after the airing of 2nd episode of Season 2.

What's the hold up Nickelodeon? And whatever happened to that Divorce Family series that was supposed to air this year?

Nickelodeon was in ratings flux started in late Sept. These ratings for Instant Mom and See Dad Run when placing Thursday 8PM unchanged since April last year, had done well. But that fall, ratings slowly decrease as the network ratings are down. They haven't been on the air, there's no word when or if they will air. But if we heard from Nickelodeon or crew, we'll keep it updated as soon.
The upfront mentions focuses on new live actions including Make It Pop, Game Makers, Talia's Kitchen, Mutt & Stuff, Roll Call, The WIT's Academy, but oddly didn't mention Nick at Nite's possible TV sitcom Divorced Family. Alexandria Brager is starring in the sitcom. Imdb already revealed it, but sadly it's unknown whether Nickelodeon greenlighted the series. We're still awaiting for more info about this because that upfront isn't enough. How come there hasn't been Nick at Nite upfront? What happened to Nickelodeon LA upfront?

Sorry to bump up a 7 year old thread, but paramount plus added See Dad Run page, but no episodes added yet.
If it would later add episodes, then hopefully it will also include 7 unaired USA episodes

Now the See Dad Run site has been shelved from Paramount Plus. Don't know whether the case few years ago due to some controversy of T**** supporter in 2016 presidential election.

The rest of unaired 7 episodes already aired in other countries long time ago, but for USA it might likely won't air them though.
