The homosexuals as well as religious nuts had a problem with this show. I remember as a kid in Memphis where a few of the first season episodes werent even shown, they showed Gomer Pyle USMC instead. In a few weeks the fevor died down and the show was allowed on our affiliate (probably since the station got angry calls and letters).

They dont understand that they could just refuse to watch it and if there is enough like minded people, it would have been cancelled. The show was cancelled after four seasons I think to falling ratings but because of homosexual and religious groups never stopped to complain about the show.

SOAP was funny as *****. It is a damn shame it didnt end after five years like the writers and the originator of the show wanted.
