Question Sabrina the Teenage Witch Boned the Fish When...

http://www.bonethefish.com/viewtopics.php?1466

Quote:
Melissa Joan Hart's starring vehicle began with her discovering she was a witch on her 16th birthday. She lived with and learned from her aunts Hilda and Zelda and her talking cat, Salem, while trying to navigate the pitfalls of being a witch - and a high school student.

I don't remember another voice actor ever doing Salem. Please refresh my memory.

More likely the messed-up season 7:

The guy who played Cole should have been played Bryan Kirkwood instead.

Beth Broderick was badly turned down and was forced to be absent in the series finale of this show for no reason at all.

Despite the many cast changes, i found the absence of the aunts in the final season just unforgiveable. I know it's called Sabrina but along with Salem, they were the second heart of the show. I liked it when Sabrina worked at the magazine but that was scrapped by mid season and then she had this rushed relationship with Aaron.

The absence of Zelda in the series finale really boned the fish completely. But we know that Zelda is considered the head owner of the witchcraft and Hilda is considered the assistant.

I agree 100% with this statement. Hilda and Zelda were actually my favorite characters and when they began to disappear, the show started fading fast.

I never got a response from my question above: Just wondering if anyone knew when Salem was replaced by a different actor?

Zelda is a head owner of the witchcraft, besides being an oldest aunt of Sabrina.

Hilda is an assistant of Zelda, besides being the youngest aunt of Sabrina.

That's a main reason why Hilda did appear in the series finale and Zelda didn't.

I voted for Sabrina goes to college. But it started a season earlier when Valerie and Libby left. Libby would have made sense to write out after high school but still should have been on season 4. I actually prefer Jenny to Valerie but Valerie is miles better than the college friends. I don't remember Dreama at all, may not have seen those episodes. tlc38, the Salem question could refer to a different cat. I think Nick Bakay was the voice for the whole show but in the later episodes it looks like the cat is a lot fatter. Sabrina would bone the fish even further in the last season with the aunts being gone. Plus Aaron added nothing to the show, Sabrina belonged with Harvey but Josh was also better than Aaron.

Beth Broderick, who played Zelda, is a comedian, but more of a serious than a humorous type.

Caroline Rhea, who played Hilda, is a comedian also, but more of a humourous than a serious type.

That's a main reason why Caroline succeed more and did appear in the series finale and Beth didn't.

The first three seasons were the best. It started going dowhill in Season 4. They got rid of Libby and Valerie. The new characters Dreama and Brad were awful. Dreama was boring. The character tested badly that she dissapppeared halfway through the season. Brad was a nasty unlikable jerk. The college episodes suck.
