Jason Momoa said in a new interview with British GQ that he didn't care for his 2011 Conan the Barbarian film.

“I’ve been a part of a lot of things that really sucked and movies where it’s out of your hands. Conan [the Barbarian] was one of them. It’s one of the best experiences I had and it [was] taken over and turned into a big pile of ****.”

Kelly Clarkson mentioned that she starred in From Justin to Kelly because it was contractually obligated for the "American Idol" winner and runner-up to star in a movie musical together.

After it tanked she said that she thought it would "ruin her career" and said in an interview years later that part of her hoped that she wouldn't win on "Idol" because it meant she had to do a movie.

This was the one and only time "American Idol" had its winner do a movie.

Couple Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw both don't care for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984).

Spielberg said, "I wasn’t happy with the second film at all. It was too dark, too subterranean, and much too horrific. I thought it out-poltered Poltergeist. There’s not an ounce of my own personal feeling in Temple of Doom."

Capshaw, who married Spielberg after becoming close on the set, said of her role as Willie, "she's not much more than a dumb screaming blonde."

Charlize Theron did a recent interview where she revealed that she joined "Arrested Development" to save her career after the 2005 sci-fi action flick Æon Flux flopped.

"I knew that Æon Flux was going to be a f---ing flop. I knew it from the beginning. That's why I did Arrested Development. ... I definitely knew we were in trouble. I wasn't a producer on it, and I didn't really have the experience to say how to fix it."

Daniel Craig has expressed that he didn't care for Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001).

“Tomb Raider slowed things down for me. It was the worst mistake I’ve made. But it was also a good lesson. Harrison Ford Accepts Blame for Brad Pitt Tension on The Devil's Own Set

Harrison Ford is finally dishing on the drama that went down between him and Brad Pitt while they were shooting the 1997 film The Devil's Own.

Ford admitted to Esquire that he was partially at fault for the long-rumored tension that swirled between him and Pitt on the set of the cop drama.

"First of all, I admire Brad. I think he's a wonderful actor. He's a really decent guy. But we couldn't agree on a director until we came to Alan Pakula, who I had worked with before but Brad had not," Ford explained, referencing his work on Pakula's 1990 film Presumed Innocent.





In addition to not seeing eye-to-eye on a director, Ford said that his desire for his character to have a more complex storyline like Pitt's also drew pushback. In the film, Ford stars as NYPD Sergeant Tom O'Meara, whose family takes in an Irish construction worker named Rory Devaney (Pitt) only to discover that Devaney is an undercover IRA terrorist attempting to purchase a cargo of missiles.

"Brad had this complicated character, and I wanted a complication on my side so that it wasn't just a good-and-evil battle," he said. "And that's when I came up with the bad-shooting thing."





As a result, a subplot for Ford's character in which he's conflicted over what to do after witnessing his partner, Eddie Diaz (Rubén Blades), fatally shoot a thief was worked into the film. However, the process of weaving it all together — while the film was still shooting— proved to be a serious challenge.

"I worked with a writer — but then all the sudden we're shooting and we didn't have a script that Brad and I agreed on," Ford said. "Each of us had different ideas about it."





Now, in hindsight, Ford knows his requests were largely responsible for the pair's standoff.

"I understand why he wanted to stay with his point of view, and I wanted to stay with my point of view — or I was imposing my point of view, and it's fair to say that that's what Brad felt," he said. "It was complicated. I like the movie very much. Very much."

Vivica A. Fox says Independence Day 2 didn’t “Live Up To The First One” since Will Smith did not Return

Vivica A. Fox is getting real about the Independence Day sequel she starred in and expressing how she really felt about the film.

Fox played Jasmine Hiller, wife of Will Smith’s character Captain Steven Hiller, in the 1996 film directed by Roland Emmerich. She went on to reprise her role in Independence Day: Resurgence in 2016, but this time without Smith by her side, which she felt was a factor in the movie not living up to the box office results of the original.

“I just didn’t feel like it was good and lived up to the first one,” Fox said in an interview with The A.V. Club. “I really feel we missed out by not bringing Will Smith [back].”




She continued, “We got most of the original cast but I think the one true link that was missing to the success of Independence Day 2 was that we missed that Will Smith wasn’t there.”

Fox said that when she was at the premiere she thought to herself about “how the fans are going to feel about” Smith not returning to the film. “And sure enough on Twitter, they blew me up,” she added.

Not that she necessarily hated it, but Harry Potter actress Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, doesn't think she had enough screentime throughout the series.

She appeared on Michael Rosenbaum’s “Inside of You” podcast where she expressed her disappointment that Ginny was not more prominent in the films.




“I definitely feel there was anxiety toward performing and doing the best thing as my character built. Like, Oh gosh, will I do justice to this character that people love? So that was always hard to do, especially when, inevitably, a lot of the scenes of every character were chopped down from the book to the film. So you didn’t really have as much to show in the film. Sometimes that was a little disappointing, because there were parts of the character that just didn’t get to come through because there weren’t the scenes to do that.

I was frustrated about that, I guess. I believed that I was going to be seen as badly portraying this character, rather than later realizing that I wasn’t really given the opportunity to do that. So it wasn’t really my fault, exactly.”




She also mentioned that fans have agreed with her by telling her that they were disappointed that Ginny didn't get enough screentime.

“Fans have shared their disappointment… they do it in a way that is like, ‘We know it wasn’t you. We just wanted more of you,'” Wright said. “And that’s the same of every character. If only they could be five-hour-long movies.”

Gary Oldman isn’t In Love with his Work in the Harry Potter Franchise

Gary Oldman isn’t a big fan of his portrayal of magician Sirius Black in the Harry Potter franchise.

Speaking to Josh Horowitz on the latest edition of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Oldman claims his work in the role was meh in the three films he did in the series.

“I think my work is mediocre in it,” Oldman claims. “No, I do. Maybe if I had read the books like Alan (Rickman, aka Prof. Snape), if I had got ahead of the curve, if I had known what’s coming, I honestly think I would have played it differently.”




Oldman is his own biggest critic.

“I’ll tell you what it is. It’s like anything, if I sat and watched myself in something and said, ‘My god, I’m amazing,’ that would be a very sad day, because you want to make the next thing better.”

Oldman debuted as Sirius Black in 2004’s Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He came back for the next two films, ending in 2007’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Cillian Murphy doesn't Think Red Eye is a Good Movie

Cillian Murphy's 2005 Red Eye flight with Rachel McAdams and director Wes Craven crashed and burned, as far as the Oppenheimer star is concerned.

Murphy opened up about his past filmography in a new cover story for GQ, in which he told the outlet that he hasn't seen "many" of his own films.



"Generally, the ones I haven't seen are the ones I hear are not good," he explained, though he has, apparently, seen Red Eye — and seemingly feels it's a low-tier title among his career.

“I love Rachel McAdams and we had fun making it,” Murphy said. "But I don’t think it’s a good movie. It’s a good B movie."

Amanda Bynes told Paper Magazine in 2018 that she didn't care for her performances in She's The Man (2006) and Easy A (2010).

"When the movie came out and I saw it, I went into a deep depression for four to six months because I didn't like how I looked when I was a boy. It just really put me into a funk and I've never told anyone that."




Though she admits that she was struggling with substance abuse at the time, she decided to quit acting after watching Easy A.

"I was high on marijuana when I saw ['Easy A'] but for some reason it really started to affect me. I don't know if it was a drug-induced psychosis or what, but it affected my brain in a different way than it affects other people. It absolutely changed my perception of things."

She posted her retirement tweet not long after Easy A came out.
