How come the "Fenster Hall" spin-off never happened - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

"Fenster Hall" was the Season 1 finale, that originally aired for an hour (it was cut into two parts for syndication). It centered on an orphanage for wayward kids. After the backdoor pilot fell through, they kept T.K. Carter around as Punky's fourth grade teacher.

Perhaps there was just simply no room on the NBC schedule at the time.

That hip music they used to open scenes at Fenster Hall, I feel would have been the jingle to the opening theme of it. Sort of like how Punky's episodes or scenes opened with the jingles to "Maybe the world is blind?" as scenes opened up or when Brandon did something funny...
