The main reason I think Khonshu really chose Marc Spector to be Moon Knight was because Khonshu didn't really want Steven Grant to know who his alter-ego was and so Khonshu really chose Marc Spector to be Moon Knight so that Steven Grant wouldn't know what Marc Spector really was like. I must admit I actually perfer Marc Spector over Steven Grant because Marc is really cool and really cute and is smart too and I love his accent too
