Did she have and I'll try to say this as nicely as possible, a very "unique" way a speaking? I don't know how to properly explain it if you've never heard Donna actually talk.
Naturally, people wonder how a woman who was presumably born and raised in Virginia speaks with what sounds like a trans-Atlantic accent. |

Anyone can speak with a Mid-Atlantic accent. As stated st the link, "It is not a native or regional accent; rather, according to voice and drama professor Dudley Knight, "its earliest advocates bragged that its chief quality was that no Americans actually spoke it unless educated to do so""
