The poster I responded to said that in order to believe Rob did it, you'd have to believe he destroyed the transmission on purpose. I'm arguing that that doesn't have to be the case.

Everything else you've mentioned has to do with the timeframe, which we've already discussed before. I still don't see the problem with the 50 minutes. Dr. John Hamilton needed about the same time to go home to kill his wife and return to the hospital to perform surgery.

There are enough reasons why people say they saw something they didn't truly witness, especially in a small town where a lot of people know each other. But you can go back to our earlier discussion to read all about my opinion on these witness statements.

Also, where does the account of the two witnesses who saw Angela and the strange man in his truck at the phone booth between 11:30 and 11:45 come from? I've only found the UM Wiki article. Another article said they saw the man and his truck "earlier in the day". Does the info come from one of those articles behind a paywall?

If he had more time to do these things, it would make his story less believable.

None of this changes if he intentionally messed up his transmission.
Who says 50 minutes isn't enough? They lived in the country surrounded by woods and water. It probably didn't take him 6 minutes to get to a wooded area.

Your "50 minute" argument might hold up if he was in a city, but not a small rural town surrounded by nature.

Seems to me like these two people would really have no motive to make this up. Especially if it was the two girls who mistook Angela for someone else. "The square" was a popular place for the teenagers to hang out in Clinton. Apparently Angie was talking to Rob on the phone at "the square" waiting for his mother to come home so he could come pick her up and they could go home together.
I've never heard of two witnesses at 11:45 p.m. I heard of two different witnesses throughout the day at different times

I got sent over here because of a reported post of bullying.

So… refresher for everyone on bullying.

You can have a difference in opinion with someone. That is not bullying. You can argue with someone about their differing opinions. That is not bullying.

You are, however, required to keep it civil.

I’ve reviewed said complaint and I don’t see where anyone on the “Rob did it” vs “Rob didn’t do it team” was insulting or trolling anyone.

One more time for the people in the back: DISAGREEING WITH SOMEONE IS NOT THE SAME AS BEING A TROLL.

Cool?

The park and the surrounding wooded area were only 5 minutes away from the phone booth. What if they went there to talk in private and something happened? He wouldn't have to drive all over town to dump her body.

Lol, conflict of interest, anyone???

Constantly posting "Rob didn't do it" whenever someone posts an opinion they don't like is definitely trolling.

If you use logic instead of emotion, I'm sure you can come up with the answer
Well… with the exception of an obvious mistake in time, no one saw Lisa Marie Kimmel’s “LIL MISS” car again…. Until they DUG. IT. UP. from Dale Wayne Eaton’s property. He could have done a ton of things to her car. He could have painted it, added decals, changed the interior…. But nope. He straight up BURIED it.

Angela’s killer had a head start. Decals are easily removed. Trucks are easily painted. Or sold for parts. Or dropped into lakes. OR BURIED. Endless possibilities.

Rob didn’t do it. The timeline doesn’t fit. Y’all can argue until you’re blue in the face and you won’t change my mind, nor will I change yours.

So, that being said… who has seen the new Spider-Man movie?

Indeed. They could've had an altercation in his car at the phone booth, or even at their house and it wouldn't have taken no more than 5 minutes to get to a spot to bury her body.

We also have to take into account that Rob could've moved her body at a later date, perhaps she wasn't buried immediately. Rob could've stored her body elsewhere, and then buried her after the investigation was over.

The problem with this case is that they're surrounded by so much vast wilderness that it nigh impossible to say that 50 minutes wasn't enough time to hide her body. Rob was raised in the area, I'm sure he knew spots to quickly hide her body

“Conflict of Interest?”

Nope. Just someone who has a differing opinion than you. For the record, I disagree with Cars frequently. I disagree with Dynoguy on occasion. I disagree with Freakbook, too. That’s the beauty of these boards. We’re all allowed to have an opinion… and they don’t need to conform with yours.

Projecting much??? Do you even know my opinion? I didn't even argue that Rob did it, and from left and right you guys popped up yelling "Rob didn't do it!", "Stop beating a dead horse!". Talk about not accepting a different opinion...

All I've argued is that it should be possible to discuss the Rob did it theory without this happening EVERY SINGLE TIME.

He buried the victim's car, not his own. My point being is that Rob is the only person to have seen this specific truck with a decal, yet not one person has claimed to see it before or after Angela's disappearance. No one of substance has ever mentioned the overalled, bearded kidnapper either. It's obvious that Rob fabricated the truck and person.

Incorrect. Rob did do it. He had motive, time, opportunity, and the fortune of being the only person to have saw Angela's kidnapper and his vehicle, despite no one else having the privilege.

Not so difficult to do if you're cleared after only a week...

Lol, I bet you had more fun than if you'd actually watched the movie. That person must've been bored out of their mind!
