I'm revisiting the show on the Roku channel and am remembering why I never warmed up to it as a kid, I think my friends watched it and would talk about it Monday morning at school so I didn't wanna feel left out.

I think then show jumped when Edward and Kate got married but frankly the whole series was garbage.

Did Silver Spoons ever have a clear-cut or definitive "jump the shark" moment that most people can agree upon? Looking at the comments section on the old JTS site, it seems like the most popular answers are either when Jason Bateman left (or depending on who you ask, forced out by Ricky Schroder and his mom) or when Edward married Kate and the house got redecorated (thus, removing the train set and the arcade games in the living room).
