Michelle Obama to Appear on "black-ish"

The Johnson residence is welcoming a very special visitor.

ABC announced Thursday that former First Lady Michelle Obama will guest-star in an upcoming episode of "black-ish", which is set to return for its eighth and final season in early 2022.

“#blackish is going all out for the final season!” the series shared on Twitter. “We are honored to have trailblazer @MichelleObama join us as an upcoming guest star.”

An exact premiere date has not yet been announced.

Tracee Ellis Ross personally asked Michelle Obama to guest-star on tonight's final Black-ish season premiere

"It was wonderful," Ross told WSJ Magazine of filming with the former first lady. "She and I are friends. It was a phone call I made. We got to do really important subject matter that's mixed in with fun, so it's receivable."
