I mean I've heard women talking about men they were attracted to, as well as about men they did not find attractive....and men have nothing on women as far as being judgmental or sexist. And, who is really the sensitive one here? Sounds like she is the one having difficulty with the ravages of time. I think in this instance as well as many others, the self proclaimed "victims" have an inferiority complex that is fueling their paranoia. And the determination to bundle it up under the guise of "abuse" is just a form of denial. Oh no, I'm not sensitive about my wrinkles, it's only the misogynists who notice"..LMAO!! |

SJP is working in the most misogynistic industry on the planet: Hollywood, where, in general, ladies over 40 need not apply. She's absolutely right that you never hear a peep about men being over 40 in Hollywood... but if the women in film and TV really wanted equality, they'd focus on gender equality instead of trans rights (which affect a much smaller proportion of the population). Instead of focusing on pay equity and age discrimination, women in Hollywood are stuck canceling one another in a dumb, endless vicious cycle. For example, former co-workers Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano are at each other's throats. As long as those ladies are firing at each other, they'll never take on the Hollywood suits running the studios... just as the powerful men in Hollywood always intended. These articles read as though they're meant for the entire country, as if SJP is talking about discrimination all over the country, but the film and television industry is the only business where men can still make twenty times what a woman makes. |
