Default 1991 Charlie's Angels Reunion Press Room

Kate Jackson's dislike For Cheryl Ladd is on full display in the press room. Pay close attention to her mannerism whenever Cheryl Ladd Speaks.

I'll never for the life of me understand why Kate Jackson had such a bone to pick with Cheryl Ladd. It wasn't Cheryl's fault that Farrah Fawcett decided to get up and leave right after the first season, when Farrah was still under contract. Plus, whether Kate wanted to admit it or not, the series actually got more successful ratings-wise in the second season. It isn't like when Shelley Hack came in to replace her that the ratings began to tank big time. So in a round about way, Cheryl may have actually saved the show (at least for the short term).

If anything, Kate's venom should've been directed at Farrah for likely putting the series in jeopardy with her abrupt departure. According to Jaclyn Smith, Farrah wanted to make movies. So that right there, gives off the impression that she was getting "too big for her britches" and felt that the show was "beneath her".

Also, while looking at that clip, I didn't realize how tiny Cheryl was when compared to Kate and Jaclyn. It says online that Cheryl is 5'4 in height, whereas Kate is 5'9 and Jaclyn is 5'7.

And I again must reiterate, why was Kate so angry at Cheryl when Cheryl saved the show? If anything, Kate should've been angry at Farrah for abruptly leaving after only the first season.

I honestly wonder if Jaclyn and/or Cheryl have spoken to Kate, at least once since Farrah's death in 2009. Kate Jackson has practically lived a reclusive existence since making that now famous reunion with Jaclyn and Farrah at the 2006 Emmys.
