I find it funny how people find EZ's stereotypes offensive and not Chrissy's, which I think was just as bad if not worse. I think those of you who take issue with EZ are holding a double-standard because Chrissy had such a hot rack. What hypocrites you are, you should all be ashamed lol.
In this case with Chrissy and the rack, a true double standard.

I am ashamed.

I agree EZ wasn't THAT great but he wasn't THAT bad either! I mean look at all the awful bland characters on TV today!

He toned down toward the end of the season but it was too late by that time

EZ did some goofy things and tried to be funny. He didn't cause me to burst out laughing but very few sitcom characters do.

Only characters like Jack Tripper, George Jefferson, and Larry Dallas can cause you to burst out laughing. It's a pretty rare feat.

Bingo. I actually kinda sorta like Three's A Crowd. But I'd like it a whole lot more if it wasn't for the awful EZ character.

I think if EZ or Mr Bradford wasn't on the show it would have been a lot better

The major problem with “There’s A Crowd” is that it was green lit in the first place. The series wasn’t terrible, but I think John Ritter had taken the Jack Tripper character as far as he could go on “Three’s Company”. He must have been promised a huge amount of money for “Three’s A Crowd”. I wonder if he came to regard the series as a mistake.

I think if TC had ended after four or five seasons, TAC may have had more fresh material to keep it from being a one-season wonder.

It was a one season one wonder because it was Three's Company with just Jack. But the show is still more watchable than the Ropers

Come to think of it, like others have said, why didn't they carry Felipe over from Three's Company if they wanted a chef character for Jack to interact with? It was a complete missed opportunity. And maybe having Felipe around would've helped make Three's a Crowd less "alien" from Three's Company in the eyes of viewers.
