>>I always liked "The Jobless Corps", which is an episode I can sadly relate to now. I've been going to my share of "out of work workshops" lately, though not a therapy group.>>

Oh, I'm SO sorry you're searching for work at this time of the year! Can you pick up some seasonal employment while you're still searching? One of my sons-in-law has been able to do that, only his is supposed to stretch into spring if not later.

I got so involved with watching some other things on Thanksgiving Day that I forgot to get out my DVD's and watch the two T-day eps from TBNS! Well, maybe today. (We had turkey dinner on Friday, since my hubby had to work on Thursday.)

Thank you, Donna - I'm still on severance, and unemployment $ should be kicking in soon. It's discouraging, though. I feel just like Howard did.

Back to the show, hopefully you can watch the eps today!! I just might do that again today myself.

My parents and I watched both episodes on Sunday night, after my hubby went to work. We watched the Moo-goo-gai-pan episode first, and then "An American Family." One of these days I'll dig out the Christmas episodes.

Good luck with your job search.

Thank you, Donna! I am definitely planning on watching all 4 of the released Christmas episodes.

It's hard to pick an all-time favorite from this show, since there were so many, but for now I would go with Fear of Flying, since I saw it on Hulu recently. Episodes like this with the funny therapy groups, balanced with the subplot involving Emily's fear of flying, mad this one a winner.

I love the episode where the group is on a retreat and Mr. Carlin is running naked in the woods.

So many great episodes.

^ That would be "The Battle of the Groups" from Season 3. The episode is also notable because it marks Daniel J. Travanti's first (and only) appearance as Mr. Gianelli, the role previously played by Noam Pitlik.

There are too many episodes I love to bother putting down haha and would be tough to put in order. That being said though, my all time favorite episode is one where Bob is hardly in it!! It is when Emily, Howard, Jerry and Bobs father go camping. The only part Bob has is calling them from the airport, but I just love that episode, easily my all time favorite.

And I guess 1a fave would be when Bob might become the staff psychologist for Loggers Insurance Company ---"we have to insure these guys", love it!

That episode was entitled "The Gray Flannel Shrink" and aired in Season 3. Great episode indeed.

He also appeared in some westerns, notably in Laredo which aired on NBC in the late 60s.

There are a few episodes that I remember:

The Thanksgiving episode (moo goo goo goo) was hilarious.

The episode where Bob and Emily go on vacation at a ski lodge and there is no snow and only one other couple there.

The episode where Bob and the group appear on a TV show, but nobody in the groups wants to talk - Bob has to do all the talking for the duration of the show.
