Default Why both "Glee" and "The Mindy Project" are each considered unwatchable now:

For many several reasons:

1.) One cast member (Corey Monteith) overdosing on heroin and died.
2.) One cast member (Mark Salling) who was a pedophile with toddler porn and committed suicide.
3.) One cast member (Naya Rivera) drowned in front of her kid.
4.) One cast member (Blake Jenner) who beat another cast member (Melissa Benoist) so badly her pupils are permanently two different sizes.
5.) One cast member Lea Michele’s poor behavior.
6.) One cast member Heather Morris' career being grounded by a jealous husband.
7.) One cast member Amber Riley settling for a scammer whose real name she doesn’t even know.
8.) One cast member Mindy Kaling's poor behavior and got sued over a car accident.

So far, TBH, IMO...

I thought Mindy could be funny on The Office, and tried Mindy Project when it originally aired but gave up on pretty early on. I also tried watching her Netflix produced or directed show (where she is not the actor) but also gave up.

As an Indian American, she wants to portray Indian girls far more promiscuous leaning or at least inclined to date white guys or only be attracted to them. Likewise, Anziz Ansari for Indian guys with white women. Why on Parks and Recreation, did Anziz play an Indian guy with a name of Tom Haverford and Mindy on The Office with a name of Kelly? (Granted there are some Indian Americans with Anglo names like Kelly but far from norm).

Perhaps it's intended to break stereotypes but they chose to be unlike 90% of the Indian Americans to just fit in with far more liberal actors in the TV industry and Hollywood.

Anziz's speed on dating white women was normal and steady, but Mindy's speed on both dating white guys being far more promiscuous may have too increasingly accelerated, which FOX was complaining about on her show.

From what I've read (though I haven't seen much of her shows), she had an assimilated childhood, without much of an Indian influence. I think she just prefers white guys, and having control of her series lets her live that out in a bigger way.

Although I saw her interview with Kamala Harris and they shared some South Indian commonality on how they grew up. I think the same with Padma Lakshmi, the model chef.

Anyways, her post The Office work, Mindy Project and her Netflix show, is girly. I guess it appeals to some though.

If she wants to prefer white guys and have control of her series to live out in a bigger way, then she should have done it in Hulu, rather than in FOX, in an accelerated way. That’s another reason why Fox couldn’t tolerate her show and the show was also too unwatchable on the way she was too focused on white guys and live out in bigger way in a too increased hurrying. Hulu was the right choice for this type of too increased hurrying on her show.

True, although, the south Asian commonality should be carefully put in right both place and time.

Although, one serious question: Why would Blake beat up Melissa for no reason at all?

I never watched Glee or heard of Mark Salling. Reading his Wikipedia, he seemed to have a promising career but was caught with 50,000 (that’s FIFTY THOUSAND) pictures of child pornography. If I was him, I would kill my self because my life would be over. Even if he could survive prison, he would have no life when he left.
